HOLE 1
The first hole is a par 4 that calls for a long drive. Players that can hit it over the mounded fairway will have a short iron into the green. Short drives should favor the left side of the fairway to set up a better angle into the green. The green is pitched from back to front and moves from left to right.

HOLE 2
The second hole is a challenging par 4. The church pews that line the left side of the fairway are a great target for your tee shot. The natural roll of the fairway allows the ball to work back to the middle. The green is elevated and pitched from back to front and moves from right to left.

The fourth hole is a short par 5 that has a dogleg left. Tee shots will move from right to left. A good drive will set you up for an opportunity to hit this green in two. Bunkers guard the green on both sides, long is not an option. The green is tiered and is pitched from back to front.

The sixth hole is a long par 4 and is ranked as one of the most difficult on the course. A good tee shot is necessary to hit the green in two. Your miss should be short or right, to the left-hand side of the green is a depression.

The eighth hole is a par 5 that doglegs slightly to the right. Stay right of the waste area off your tee shot. If long enough you will have a tough decision to make. Going for it in two is a risk reward shot due to the water and bunkers surrounding this green.

HOLE 10
The tenth hole is a par 4 that plays longer than its yardage. The fairway is mounded like the first hole. If you can carry the mound you will have a short iron into the green. A long iron in your hand makes this green difficult to hit due to an elevated green and large greenside bunker short left.

The fifteenth hole is a par 4 that doglegs to the left. It’s routed on top of a bluff bordering a cypress forest, which was once the Wachesaw rice plantation of the 1800’s. The elevated landing area sets up a downhill shot to a green tucked into the hillside. This hole begins the march to the clubhouse over the most beautiful land on the golf course.

The eighteenth is a long par 5 that will bring you to your knees. Currently ranked as the toughest finishing hole on the Grand Strand. All three shots require you to stay right as the fairway and green slope hard from right to left. The Waccamaw River covers the left-hand side and flows behind the green. What a way to finish!
